Castleberry gyros repair & overhaul
Castleberry attitude indicators, flight director gyros and directional gyros are no longer in production. We repair and overhaul the ones still flying, at our shop in Show Low, Arizona.
The Castleberry line
Castleberry models we support
Castleberry gyros grew out of the AIM gyro line. In Austin, Castleberry developed its 900 series electric gyros to replace most of the discontinued AIM 510 series, then added models ruggedized for helicopters and lighting for night vision goggles. In 2005, Sporty's Pilot Shop offered an electric backup attitude indicator made by Castleberry.
The line is no longer in production. The models below are the ones in the most recent Castleberry product brochure, with the features it lists for each.
Configurations varied by part number. Check the data plate on your instrument, or send us the part number and we'll confirm what it is.
